 Chief Executive Officer - Patricia Batchelor

Pat Batchelor,  President Pat Batchelor has been an integral part of the housing industry in Delaware throughout her career. Her close working relationship with developers, contractors, owners, housing authority and municipal officials has earned the respect of the industry and housing providers regularly seek her opinion. Pat began her real estate career in December of 1976, originally serving as Project Manager of Chandler Heights Apartments. Pat holds a real estate broker's license for Delaware and Maryland, and is a member of the Sussex County Board of Realtors. She has completed four 44-hour courses on property management, which were sponsored by IREM, and has earned the professional designation of Accredited Resident Manager. She stays current with new regulations by attending seminars presented by IREM, the local Board of Realtors, NAHB, and Delaware NAHRO. Pat is past president of the Nanticoke Chapter of Rotary International and past secretary of the Sussex Division of the American Heart Association. She is active member of the Development Council for Delaware Technical and Community College, Owens Campus and on the Milton Development Board.

In 2003, Pat was honored by Delaware Tech as an "Outstanding Business Woman in Delaware" at their 9th Annual International Women's Celebration and by NAHRO Research as their "Ambassador for 2003".


 President - Sharon Kensinger

 Sharon Kensinger, Vice President Sharon Kensinger joined East Coast Property Management in 1992 with 9 years experience in property management and development of federally financed properties. She supervised on-site managers as a Regional Manager; served as Director of Operations and served as Vice-President. She has developed company-wide policies and procedures; has compiled and written operations manuals; and has overseen all aspects of on-site and off-site management and employees. She has appeared as a speaker and/or panel member at various HUD, Housing Agency and NAHRO conferences and co-taught the property management module of a University of Delaware sponsored course for non-profit developers. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Sharon was promoted to Vice President in 2003 and took over as President of East Coast Property Management in October 2005. E-mail:


SUPPORT STAFF

The Seaford home office staff handles a wide variety of tasks. East Coast provides a full range of management services that include service contracting, insurance placement, development consultation and marketing. All employees of East Coast are kept current on the latest methods relevant to their position through in-house and outside training and educational opportunities.

Office Manager - Linda Slaughter

Linda Marvel,  Office Manager
Linda Slaughter is the assistant to the CEO as well as Office Manager. She joined the staff as Administrative Assistant with 28 years of experience in the fields of finance and education. Prior to joining East Coast, she was employed by a non-profit housing organization as assistant to the Executive Director where she had the opportunity to assist in the development of new properties from acquisition of funding through construction. In that position, she had the opportunity to work
with people in need of housing and other types of assistance, helping them to find the services they required. Linda is a valuable part of the East Coast team. E-mail:

Vanette Smith, Director Human Resources
Vanette Smith joined our staff in 2003, bringing with her over 14 years of experience and a vast knowledge of the Human Resources and payroll fields. She was the 2005 Employee of the year.

Compliance Monitor - Pam Richard

Pam Richard, Compliance Director
Pam Richard is responsible for the implementation of regulations and compliance at all of the sites that East Coast manages. Pam holds the designation of Housing Credit Certified Professional. Pam serves as Senior Vice-President of the Delaware chapter of NAHRO.
She received the NAHRO Ambassador Award for 2007.

Accounting Manager – Alex Muniz

Alex Muniz joined East Coast Property Management in 2009 as Accounting Manager.  He came to East Coast Property Management with over 20 years of accounting experience in the public sector.  Alex has his BA from Manhattan College

Accounting Department - Rosemary Dean, Deborah Nichols, Peg VanBeveren

Working with the on-site property managers, the accounting staff at the Seaford office prepares financial reports, handles accounts payable and receivable and all other tasks related to fiscal management of the properties. The accounting department has over 50 years combined experience in the field of property management accounting.
