Pam
Richard Receives Ambassador Award
The
Delaware Chapter of the National Association
of Housing and Redevelopment Officials
annually recognizes a member for outstanding
contributions and for exceptional work.
This prestigious award was first given
in 1985 and continues to be a much honored
distinction for those members dedicated
to the field of housing and community
development.
On
September 19, 2007 at the Delaware NAHRO
Annual Meeting and Dinner, Pam Richard,
Compliance Monitor with East Coast received
this Ambassador Award for her volunteer
efforts with Delaware NAHRO. She received
a plaque and the silver bowl engraved
with her name which she may proudly display
in her office.
Chandler
Heights Receives National Recognition
The
Affordable Housing Tax Credit Coalition
presented the 13th Annual Charles L. Edson
Tax Credit Excellence Awards at a ceremony
held on June 5, 2007 at the Hart
Senate Office Building in Washington,
D.C. Presented to the most outstanding
Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties
in four categories, this national awards
program celebrates the best in affordable
rental housing development. Chandler Heights
received the Honorable Mention award in
the Rural Housing category. Senator Tom
Carper presented the award to Norman Poole,
President and William Roup, Executive
Director of Better Homes of Seaford.
DSHA Recognizes Sites
Eight
properties managed by East Coast Property
Management were honored May 20, 2008 at
the annual Compliance Training workshop
hosted by Delaware State Housing
Authority. The properties were honored
for Outstanding File Reviews in 2007,
receiving no findings of noncompliance
with the IRS regulations governing Low
Income Housing Tax Credit properties.
These properties are Savannah West, Mills
Landing, East Atlantic Annex, CHEER
Apartments, Charleston Place, Wexford
Village, Marshall Manor, Milton Landing
and Old Landing II.
